The allure of creativity

Though I have long accepted the transient nature of existence and the endless argument of beauty being a subjective superficial feat, this has never stopped me from being appreciative of framed timeless beauty.

I cannot vouch that a trip to a museum would be an enjoyable one. However, must you be up for nothing but a visceral and emotive experience, head to Ueno.

Better yet, purchase the Ueno Welcome Passport (valued at 3,000 yen).

This, thus far, is the sole and best legit financial advice you’ll get from me. You’ll save bucks in buying this. And oh! You’re welcome. Don’t make me do the math. I am an English language teacher for a reason.

Trimmed and re uploaded for blog purposes.

The Ueno Welcome Passport was translated into English by no other than the language extraordinaire CEO of Boundless- Dennis Chia. Truly a force to be reckoned with. #networkingatiioffice #connections

Good now, good. Back to art.

More often than not, people would label me as a sapiosexual. Those who get close enough, however, are pretty much aware that although I am ideally to function logically, I’ve always fallen so hard for the creative. Why am I wearing my heart on my sleeve? I believe what makes the creatives alluring is their propensity to be authentic.

My Human Art: Happy birthday Angelica. I thank thee for being such a rainbow.

It is in moments when I got sucked into the creative black hole I was the happiest. Oh the bliss to be simply out of control and to be in a zone where you can allow your curiosity to expand.

And if you’re a resident of Ueno, to be in zones where you can easily access museums.  You, +81 tenants of the world, must not take this kind of extravagance for granted. Allow these masterpieces to tap into your emotional reservoir. See the artist’s soul through his artwork, and you might actually become a living masterpiece yourself.

I gather creativity is rather an esoteric subject and a painting is nothing but a beauty of a lost cause at the moment. But I guess it does take time to extract depth from what our naked eyes can see.

My all-time champions for impressionism and post-impressionism were featured in the exhibition. Due to restrictive photo policies, I can’t take photos of the works of Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Degas and Van Gogh.

Fret not! What this post lacked in masterpieces at the gallery, it made up in the sculptures on the grounds.

This will do, good enough. I pray.

One attraction down from the Ueno Welcome Passport, nine to go!
