M’sanctuary in Tokyo
Although not disempowering, I began to feel exhaustion over the overwhelming infinite choices Japan has to offer. The more choices we have the better, right? Too many options, however, create anxiety and can leave one less satisfied. Oh dear! Space and time just collapsed.

Just imagine how time consuming it would take for me to deal with the serious ones.
So what can I do about it?
Embrace this void in the making. Fix it before it becomes a nasty conundrum.
Over-thinking is a dead giveaway of an upcoming void. I’ve been battling it since forever. And I won’t let it compromise my 365 days in Japan. NEVER. Last July 2, I started my Sunday 8 o’clock habit.
This reset has surely brought me back to my element. The less mayhem I have in my head, the better teacher you’ll have in Ueno. Trust me on this. I’m kinder when I don’t overthink.
Trivia: I acquired much of my vocabulary from the Bible. Take that, Shakespeare.
Here’s my takeaway in this post: Focus on what nourishes you, not depletes you.
